Hello Lumberjack Baseball Family, Friends and Alumni,
Spring is in the air, despite the forecast for negative
temps later this week AGAIN! Your Lumberjack Baseball team is now comprised of
15 players and WE have begun practicing early in the morning working on the
fundamentals of hitting, fielding, and being a well-rounded TEAM. Currently, WE
are 21 days away from our first pitch in Tucson, AZ as WE take on Wheaton
College JV. The excitement is high and our TEAM is looking to be very competitive
this season. In total we have 33 regular season games and the possibility for
more depending on our conference tournament. Our first home game is scheduled
for Apr. 5th against Dawson Community College at 1:00pm, WE hope
that you will come out to support your TEAM as WE embark on the new era of
Lumberjacks Baseball. I want to personally thank everyone for the tremendous
support during this transition in the program. It has been really great for a
first year head coach!
